Open College Network Yorkshire & Humber Region
Welcome
This website is aimed at individuals, employers and learning providers in the Yorkshire and Humber region who would like to know more about the benefits of credit-based learning.
We are one of nine regional Open College Networks (OCNs) in England, one in Wales and one in Northern Ireland, which are linked to the National Open College Network, the leading awarding body for credit based qualifications.
We are also an Access Validating Agency for QAA recognised Access to HE courses.
Our role is to promote the use of credit-based learning in the workplace, schools, colleges and the community, and ensure it meets national quality standards.
We work in partnership with colleges, schools, employers, voluntary organisations and other training providers to develop relevant and accessible provision and to award certificates to successful learners.
Find out more about the OCN by watching this presentation Finding out about the OCN.ppt
