About Us
OCNYHR is a learning organisation and has signed the Skills Pledge

OCNYHR is a membership network, bringing together learning providers from all sectors including Higher Education, Further Education, the Voluntary and Community Sector and Private Training Providers.
The OCN is a not for profit company with charitable status. We are part of the national OCN network and work in collaboration with all other OCNs
OCNYHR has 30 staff working in our purpose built office at OCN House in Wakefield. We aim to give an efficient and friendly service to our members. We work in support of widening participation and social inclusion across the region, in partnership with other regional agencies.

The Board of Trustees is chaired by John McLeod and is cross sectoral with a maximum of 15 representatives.

There are three Committees:

The Quality Assurance and Access to HE Committees are chaired by a trustee but the membership is drawn from those in the network who wish to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the OCN.
