Workforce Development

The OCN can provide flexible and relevant workforce development for staff in local authorities, FE Colleges, Private Training providers, Schools and the Voluntary and Community Sector.

We have developed a range of high quality 1 credit units which can be used to accredit one day's training in an in-house context.  Our staff will offer support to develop new units, either singly or as part of a Continuing Professional Development Framework, tailored to meet an organisation's needs.

OCN units are mapped to National Occupational Standards and/or the core curriculum.  We work directly with Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) as the Sector Skills Council and ENTO, the standard setting body to ensure all developments match national and regional strategies.

The OCN also offers staff customised and accredited Staff Development to support the delivery of workforce development units and to embed flexible and appropriate assessment.
