Access Learners
Many adults have the potential and ability to study for a degree or professional qualification but have been unable to do so because their education was disrupted due to family, financial, social or personal circumstances. They may have few, if any, formal qualifications, have been out of education for some years and thought that they had missed any opportunity to pursue goals of higher education.
Access learners come from a broad age range, varied backgrounds and from different ethnic groups. What they share is a wish and potential to study for a degree or professional qualification successfully.
If this is you, the Access to HE Diploma has been specially developed to provide you with a second chance to go on to degree or diploma programmes in higher education or in other professional areas.
