Qualification and Credit Update

The Qualifications in Progression have been extended until 2016 and the funding should be visible on the Learning Aims Database as soon as it has been updated.

The following qualifications have been extended:

Entry 3 Award and Certificate in Progression
Level One Award, Certificate and Diploma in Progression
Level Two Award, Certificate and Diploma in Progression
Level Three Award and Certificate in Progression

  • These qualifications are the most flexible on the QCF with simple Rules of Combination and a wide choice of Personal and Social Development and Vocational Taster units.
  • They allow providers the maximum choice of units to meet different learner needs. The Entry 3 and Level One Qualifications can be used for Foundation Learning, NEETS and pre-Apprenticeship.
  • It is expected that the Level Two Certificate and Diploma will be fully fundable.
  • Level Two and can be used for Pre Access and Employability.
  • All levels can be used for 6th formers in schools or for Adult Learning.
